Oh my gosh, yesterday was the day that my book had its official publish date, wowee, it’s really happened. I am officially a published author, it’s taken so long to fulfil this dream, but I’m so proud of what I have achieved. I caught up with amazing friends to celebrate this milestone. Let’s face it, you never get the first official publish date back again. I wonder if the big shots like Lee Child or Julia Donaldson remember their first official date. I think mine will be etched into my memory forever.
So now I pop on the marketing hat, website I think is under control, books from pre-orders should arrive tomorrow and on Saturday I hope to bombard the post office with books winging their way out to the world. So exciting! I hope everyone that has bought a copy of the book absolutely loves it.
But now, all this excitement is a bit much, so bed for me, this new career is taking it out of me!
